I want to take this time due to the recent tragic events in Boston and let this serve you as a bit of a reminder.

A lot of us fitblrs, or those on weight loss/healthy lifestyle journeys I believe wake up more days disappointed with our progress than satisfied.

Tomorrow, I want you to wake up and live it at it’s best. Eat the most delicious and healthy food you can. Then workout as hard as you can. Sweat until you cry, until you just can’t go anymore, and then you get to the point you realize you can… and then you did.

Tomorrow, I’m going to run. I’m going to run for Boston. Not because I need to, not because it’s part of my workout, not because I need to keep adding more cardio, because I can.

Today, some people lost that privilege that we take for granted.

You are capable of so many things. Go do them. Be thankful. Do the things you can do. Better yet, go discover what you are capable of doing. You might just surprise yourself.

My prayers to all those affected, a hug to all my fellow runners, and thanks in light that none of my friends or their families were in harms way in Boston today.

All my love,

Fat-To-Workout-Mat
